When it comes to your founder’s story, 9 times out of 10, a shorter is almost always better.
Hard to do, but extremely important as you go and use your story to help you secure resources for your business.
It’s almost always possible to express something with fewer words and you need to work hard to do so when creating and telling your story.
This may sound obvious, but most people really appreciate “an economic approach to words” when they are asked to listen to a pitch or learn about your business.
It is something they may not be able to say just like that, but people tend to prefer concise stories vs. elongated ones.
Or said another way – Less is more
